WE HOPE ARMENIA WILL JOIN REGIONAL PROGRAMS: MEVLÜT ÇAVUŞOĞLU
Turkish Foreign Minister expressed hope that Armenia will be able to join regional programs in the future. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu noted that Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Iran will form mechanisms with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, like tripartite and quadrilateral mechanisms, and Ankara hopes that Armenia will be able to join these mechanisms in the future.
TURKEY IS IN CONSTANT CONTACT WITH FINLAND: İBRAHIM KALIN
Turkey is in constant contact with Finland regarding the process of joining NATO, stated the press secretary of the Turkish President, İbrahim Kalın, detailing that the situation may become clearer in the coming days. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has stated that Ankara can "take a good look" at Finland's membership in NATO if Helsinki submits a separate application without Stockholm. Earlier, the President of Turkey announced that he is going to publish a message about Finland, which will shock Sweden. He hinted that the message would only come if Finland didn't make the same mistake as Sweden. The Finnish Foreign Minister stated that the security of Finland and Sweden is joint.
KYIV WILL RECEIVE 120-140 TANKS OF WESTERN MODELS: KULEBA
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced that in the first phase of support, Kiev will receive 120-140 tanks of Western models. Dmytro Kuleba detailed that Ukraine will receive Leopard 2, Challenger, Abrams tanks. He avoided naming all the countries that agreed to transfer tanks to Kiev, as some have yet to make official announcements. According to the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Kiev continues to work on expanding the composition of the tank coalition and increasing the number of tanks.
BLINKEN SENT MESSAGE TO RUSSIA THROUGH EGYPTIAN FOREIGN MINISTER
NATO is directly involved in a "hybrid war" against Russia, the Russian Foreign Minister stated during a press conference with his Egyptian counterpart.
“The Russian command is taking all the necessary measures so that the West's plans do not become reality,” Sergey Lavrov said.
The Russian Foreign Minister also said that through the Egyptian Foreign Minister, he received a “certain message” from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken regarding Ukraine.
“Once again, we received a message through the minister that Russia should stop, leave, and only then everything will be fine,” Lavrov stated and emphasized that the Russian side is ready to listen to any serious proposal aimed at resolving the situation in a comprehensive context.
RUSSIAN DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER RECEIVED AMBASSADOR OF AZERBAIJAN
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bülbüloğlu. During the meeting, the prospects of bilateral cooperation were discussed in the context of the implementation of the provisions of the declaration on allied cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan of February 22, 2022. Issues related to the region were also discussed, including the prospects for the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations based on the implementation of trilateral agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
