The performance report 2022 of the Military Industry Committee of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry was presented to Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today.
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan, First Deputy Defense Minister, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Edward Asryan, Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan, Chairman of the Military Industry Committee Artyom Mehrabyan and other officials participated in the discussion.
The works carried out by the Committee last year were reported to the Prime Minister, particularly in the areas of capacity development of the military-industrial complex, cooperation with local enterprises, introduction of modern technologies in the field, involvement of Armenian companies in international defense exhibitions and other directions.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the strategic importance of the sector and highlighted the effective activity of the Committee in the continuous development and expansion of the existing potential of military-industrial capabilities, production of armaments and equipment.
