High-level talks were held in Budapest on Monday, after which Azerbaijan and Hungary signed a number of intergovernmental documents.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, in particular, signed a joint declaration on the expanded strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Hungary.
In addition, the parties signed 6 more documents, including a protocol of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary on cooperation in the field of natural gas.
