Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan, at the suggestion of a group of citizens, together with National Assembly Speaker Artur Tovmasyan, met with people representing different layers of the public in Stepanakert's Palace of Culture and Youth.
The head of state presented in detail the political and socio-economic consequences of the difficult situation in Artsakh due to the blockade, referred to the steps taken by the government to mitigate their impact on the population.
In his speech, Arayik Harutyunyan stressed that in order to face the current challenges, we need strong internal unity, the determination not to give in to the divisive provocations of various external and domestic forces, because otherwise we may face the danger of the final loss of Artsakh's statehood.
During the meeting, President Harutyunyan also answered the questions of the citizens and listened to their proposals.
