The official representative of the ruling party of justice and development (PSR) of Turkey Ömer Çelik announced the absence of any obstacles to the new nomination of the candidacy of Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the presidential election.
He wrote about this on his page on Twitter.
“There are no obstacles to the re-nomination of our president. This is not even the subject of any debate. And such discussions (about the impossibility of nomination-ed.) are not based on any legal base, but on the desire to give illegal means Direction of politics, which we have already encountered in the past,” said Çelik.
He accused the opposition of trying to undermine democratic processes in the country.
The presidential election and the new composition of the parliament is expected to take place on May 14.
