At the beginning of the Government session, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, speaking about the closure of the Lachin Corridor, as well as the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh, emphasized the need to send an international fact-finding mission there.
“Azerbaijan has been trying to convince the international community for a long time that the Lachin Corridor is not closed at all, that the gas and electricity supply to Nagorno-Karabakh has not been stopped. Obviously, Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh claim the opposite. The best way to resolve this conflict is to send an international fact-finding mission to Nagorno-Karabakh and Lachin Corridor. We must consistently work in this direction.
In general, according to Nikol Pashinyan, there is no alternative to the peaceful settlement of all existing problems in the region.
“We will be guided by this logic, no matter how much we understand all the difficulties and complications,” said Pashinyan.
