Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Washington within the framework of the 2nd ministerial meeting of the Turkey-US Strategic Mechanism.
At the press conference held after the meeting, Çavuşoğlu noted that they also exchanged thoughts with Blinken about the Caucasus, Armenia-Turkey, Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement processes.
The joint statement of Blinken and Çavuşoğlu stated: "The two ministers agreed to increase coordination and cooperation aimed at promoting peace in the South Caucasus."
