The process of distributing 5 types of products from the state reserve with coupons has started in Artsakh. 26 service points were formed for the implementation of the project, 19 of which are in Stepanakert.
Metakse Avetisyan (responsible for the service point) - We have 15 inputters and 2 ticket issuers at the service point. In addition, the committee has provided 2 administrators who, in case of queues, guide people to the appropriate free entrants, so that the crowding is as small as possible.
The purpose of the coupon system is to exclude food shortages in the market, the officials assure. One liter of oil and one kilogram of sugar, pasta, buckwheat and rice are available per person per month.
Liana Avanesyan (responsible for the service point) - The oil is one-time, that is, one liter of oil per person for one month, the other 4 types of products - half a kilogram, from January 20 to February 5, and half a kilogram - from February 5 to February 20, can be used at any store.
Coupons have an expiration date, if the citizen does not make a purchase during that time, the coupon will be invalidated. At the service points, they also deny the common misunderstanding that you don't have to pay for a coupon.
Liana Avanesyan - The coupon does not provide for free purchase of the given product. It just provides equal access to the market.
Non-citizens of Artsakh, but living in Artsakh and foreigners living here, have the opportunity to buy food with a coupon. They and those who have a problem with the documents should contact the Artsakh Housing Affairs Committee.
