Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Schallenberg has called on Azerbaijan to open the Lachin Corridor, the only road connecting Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) with Armenia and the rest of the world.
“Welcomed my colleague Ararat Mirzoyan to Vienna to discuss Austrian-Armenian cooperation, regional security and the planned EU mission to Armenia. Call on Azerbaijan to reopen the Lachin corridor and ensure freedom of movement,” FM Schallenberg tweeted after meeting Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan who was in Vienna for the Special Meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.
