Reports about the supply of American-style cluster munitions to Ukraine from Turkey are disinformation, a source in the Turkish President's office told RIA Novosti.
According to him, such information serves the interests of the forces that want to disrupt Ankara's efforts towards a peaceful settlement.
The Foreign Policy magazine reported on the supply of cluster bombs from Turkey to Ukraine since November of last year, citing representatives of the USA and the EU.
Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, noted that it is difficult to speak about the reliability of these messages. According to him, Moscow is monitoring the situation. The representative of the Kremlin reminded that Ankara supplies Bayraktar drones to Kyiv and, as a member of NATO, “has its obligations”.
