American investigative journalist Lindsey Snell questions the environmental reasons for the Lachin blockade.
"Another of the Azerbaijani "eco-activists" blocking the Lachin corridor," she wrote on her Twitter microblog, attaching a photo of an Azerbaijani youth against the background of the Lachin Corridor protests.
In another photo, the same young man is already in military uniform.
Azerbaijani human rights defender Farid Imanov also stated that the administration of Baku State University promised the students to turn a blind eye to their absences and assign satisfactory grades if the young people join the Lachin Corridor protests.
The human rights defender added that a similar situation exists in a number of other Azerbaijani universities.
