The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan responded to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia regarding the blockade of Lachin Corridor.
Baku considered the statements of the Armenian Foreign Ministry groundless.
“They are aimed at misleading international partners and artificially escalating the situation. Apparently, the Armenian side is still interested in continuing illegal economic and other activities in the territory of Azerbaijan. We once again call on Yerevan to refrain from actions against Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity and to stop aggressive political and military provocations,” the statement said.
At the same time, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov, also checked the combat readiness of the military support base, military equipment and presented tasks related to the recruitment of reservists.
