At the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), three patients hospitalized at the Republican Medical Center in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) were transported to various hospitals in Armenia, the Ministry of Healthcare of Artsakh said in a statement.
Due to the Azerbaijani blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh with Armenia, the patients were in serious condition for many days diagnosed with pulmonary haemorrhage and arteriovenous malformation; Metastatic pleural tumor, left-sided hydrothorax and lung abscess; Choledocholithiasis and liver failure.
The ICRC facilitated the transfer of the patients to Armenia.
