On December 20-21, a working discussion of the heads of diplomatic representations of the Republic of Armenia was held in Jermuk headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the leadership of the MFA Central Apparatus.
On December 20, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan met with the participants of the event. The Prime Minister touched upon the foreign policy priorities of Armenia, current challenges and the possibilities of addressing them, and referred to the expectations from diplomats. Nikol Pashinyan also answered the questions of those present.
Then, led by Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, high-ranking diplomats discussed the details of the processes of normalisation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan, border security and border delimitation, the unblocking of economic and transport infrastructures in the region, normalisation of relations between Armenia and Turkey, as well as other issues related to the priorities of the foreign policy of Armenia.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia delivered relevant instructions for further work.
