The telephone conversation between High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, took place.
The parties discussed the situation around the Lachin Corridor and regional developments in general. Borrell expressed concern regarding the current tension in the region and emphasized the continuity of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
According to the Azerbaijani side, Bayramov claimed that the Azerbaijanis did not close the Lachin corridor. The officials also referred to the activities of the EU observation mission in Armenia.
