As a result of its actions, Azerbaijan has reached a dead end. Armenia’s Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan said this in a briefing with journalists, referring to the UN Security Council session held yesterday.
"I suppose Azerbaijan did not expect such a reaction. We will continue to work in this direction with all possible means available to Armenia and which will not involve Armenia in another process," said Simonyan.
When asked how he evaluates the speech of the Russian representative, Simonyan answered:
"I assess the speech negatively, because I think that it could have been much more addressed by the ally, it was done by countries that do not have close ties with Armenia. I think either it can't, or it doesn't want to, or it can't and doesn't want to.
I'm not surprised, the recent events showed that there might be a response from the Russian side and an assessment. Perhaps because it is the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers, that is, they want not to take too much responsibility on themselves."
