Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan is chairing a Security Council meeting.
In addition to members of the Security Council, the meeting is attended by President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office Arayik Harutyunyan, Vice Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan, Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan, High Technological Industry Minister Robert Khachatryan, Parliament Majority Leader (Civil Contract faction) Hayk Konjoryan and Deputy Minister of Defense Karen Brutyan.
“We will discuss a broad range of issues during this session of the Security Council, of course including the military-political situation in the region.
Before the agenda items, I would like to inform you that I have already discussed with the President, and Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan will be appointed Deputy Prime Minister.
Deputy Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan will be appointed Finance Minister,” Pashinyan said in the beginning of the meeting.
