Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the country's high-ranking military leaders, who presented the President with reports on the ongoing military operations in Ukraine.
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov, Commander of Combat Operations in Ukraine Sergey Surovikin and other high-ranking leaders took part in the meeting.
Earlier, the press spokesman of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, said that Putin got acquainted with the work of the joint headquarters of the military branches involved in the battles.
“The head of the country worked at the headquarters throughout the day yesterday, got acquainted with the report on the progress of the special military operation, held separate meetings with the commanders,” said Peskov.
