As of 11:00, December 16 the Lachin Corridor remains blocked by Azerbaijan, the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities said.
The Ministry of Interior of Nagorno-Karabakh added that law enforcement agencies are on high alert patrolling the capital city and the regions of Nagorno-Karabakh given the situation resulting from the blockade.
Azerbaijan is keeping the Lachin Corridor closed since December 12. The Lachin Corridor is the only road linking Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) with Armenia and the rest of the world.
