Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan wrote on his Facebook page:
“Dear compatriots,
It is the second day that Azerbaijan has closed the road connecting Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia. Today, the gas supply to Artsakh has been stopped, leading the situation to a humanitarian disaster in these days of winter.
This behavior of neighbors is not new to us, the purpose of which is to instill doubt about our own will.
This is not the first trial we will go through either. Probably not the last either. This road is long and sometimes seems impassable. It is possible to pass it only together.
Dear compatriots, Armenians,
We are different in our place of birth, dialect, political views and way of life, but we are united in our will, and our will does not break or wear out. Stay steadfast and have faith in us.”
