Due to Azerbaijan's blocking of the only route connecting Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia, interstate passenger transportation has been suspended for the second day. This was reported by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Artsakh.
Many citizens have purchased tickets to Yerevan, other regions of Armenia. The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Artsakh, together with the Stepanakert Municipality, temporarily accommodated about 100 passengers who remained on the road as a result of the disruption of Stepanakert-Yerevan regular passenger transportation in Stepanakert and Goris hotels and guesthouses.
Due to the Azerbaijani blockade, many citizens, including patients in need of immediate medical care, could not reach Zvartnots International Airport to travel abroad.
International flights continue to be carried out without Artsakh citizens. The only airport of the Republic of Artsakh is also not functioning due to Azerbaijani threats.
