On December 6 and 7, the "Junior Eurovision 2022" delegations participated in the cultural program organized by the Public Television Company of Armenia in the Yerevan metro.
From the Republic Square, the magical metro train took the participants to four fairytale stations, where the children learnt about the cultural heritage of Armenia, cuisine, national dances and games and participated in a big Armenian feast.
At the games station, the participants tried to spin the symbol of this year's "Junior Eurovision Song Contest", as well as enjoy Malena's "Kami-Kami" performance, which brought victory to Armenia.
At the sweets station, the children were welcomed by the Magician and the Chef, they baked a cake together, and tasted the pastries.
The next station was cultural. Here, the living canvases of "Breathing Art" awaited the participants. The paintings "Jajur" (1960) by Minas Avetisyan, "Woman with a Mirror" (1969) by Hakob Hakobyan and "Red Room" (1974) by Jean Garzu came to life.
And at the last station, a big Armenian feast was waiting for the passengers of the magic train. The children tied the strings of their dreams to the tree of life, tasted ghapama and took photos in Armenian national costumes.
The purpose of the cultural program is to present the heritage, history and potential of the host country, increasing the tourist attraction. The unique program held in the metro will soon be turned into a film.
