Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented the results of yesterday’s meeting between the deputy prime ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan which was held in Moscow.
During a Q&A session in the Parliament, Pashinyan said that during that meeting the issue of reconstruction of Yeraskh-Julfa-Ordubad-Meghri-Horadiz railway was discussed.
“Unfortunately, I cannot say that we have any concrete result, but I want to reaffirm that Armenia is ready and is interested in the implementation of this program. Our proposal is still in force, and Armenia is ready to start the restoration of the railway as soon as possible. We have voiced our visions in the past. From the moment of registering generality around these visions we are ready to start the restoration works of the railway”, Pashinyan said, once again stating that the railway and the road must operate within the legislation of Armenia, which must be fixed on the document.
