The number of tourists who visited Armenia in January-November 2022 was 1.54 million people, the Tourism Committee reports.
"This year, for the first time, we exceeded 2019's visits by month, registering 144,576 visits (140,376 visits in November 2019). It should be noted that in November 2021, we had 85,762 visits," the message says.
The five countries that recorded an increase in tourist visits to Armenia in the period of January-November 2022 are: Russia (around 47%), Georgia (10%), Iran (7%), USA (3%) and Germany (2%).
