Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan spoke about the security issues and referred to the diplomacy of Armenia’s authorities at the National Assembly.
“We believe that Armenia has internationally defined borders and territory, part of which is occupied by Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani troops should withdraw from there immediately and without any preconditions,” said Rubinyan.
Speaking about the problem of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Rubinyan mentioned.
“We also believe that the issue of the rights and security of the Artsakh people must be resolved, because otherwise it means the depopulation of Artsakh or the genocide of the Artsakh people.
We believe that this issue can be resolved through direct negotiations between Baku and Stepanakert, with the participation of the international mechanism.”
