NATO will reinforce its presence from the Black to the Baltic Sea, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said at a press conference in the Romanian capital of Bucharest, TASS reports.
"We are now going to be reinforcing NATO’s presence from the Black to the Baltic Seas. In that effort, we are working constantly with each other, as well as with NATO, to effectively inform and reinforce our Black Sea strategy," he pointed out following a meeting with Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu.
"When it comes to the Black Sea region, this is an area of great strategic importance to us," Blinken added.
