On November 29, within the framework of the working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia (SC), met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's Foreign Policy Advisor, Jens Plötner, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office Tobias Lindner, Political Director for East European, Caucasus and Central Asian Affairs of the MFA of the Federal Republic of Germany Matthias Lüttenberg, the press service of the Security Council reports.
According to the report, the Secretary also had meetings in the Foreign Relations Committee of the German Bundestag.
The parties discussed the international and regional security situation.
“The Security Council Secretary presented the security challenges in our region and emphasized Armenia’s views and efforts aimed at solving them. Armen Grigoryan welcomed the decision made by the German government, according to which Armenia is included in the reform strategy until 2030 of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. During the meetings, sincere conversations were held on a number of issues related to Armenian-German bilateral relations. Highly valuing the current political contacts, the participants of the meeting agreed to further develop the dialogue at higher and top levels,” the message states.
