“You are in Armenia in very difficult period for us. Armenia faces regional challenges”, welcoming the members of the Hellenic Parliament the Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan said.
On November 28, the meeting with the members of the Hellenic Parliament Periklis Mantas, Anastasios Bartzokas, Konstantinos Zachariadis took place, where the members of the Standing Committee on European Integration Sona Ghazaryan and Arsen Torosyan took part.
Arman Yeghoyan presented the situation in Armenia and in Artsakh, touched upon the tension on the border, talked about the normalization process of Armenia-Turkey relations. He highlighted the necessity of the development of close and effective relations in the geopolitical difficult times.
Thanking his colleagues for warm reception, Periklis Mantas also emphasized the rapprochement of the relations with Greece.
The members of the Hellenic Parliament will take part in the closing ceremony of the Twinning Project Strengthening the capacity of the National Assembly of Armenia to further support CEPA oversight and implementation. Evaluating the work done within the framework of the Project, the Committee Chair expressed hope that the cooperation will be continuous.
Issues regarding also the economic and business relations were discussed.
