The Canadian Foreign Ministry officially announced the opening of the consulate in Yerevan, which will be open to visitors from December 15, 2022. Parliamentarian Hasmik Hakobyan of the ‘Civil Contract’ faction of the Parliament of Armenia wrote about this on her Facebook page.
“This is a key and important step in the development of diplomatic relations between Canada and Armenia.
I should also mention that within the next one year, it is planned to open the Canadian Embassy to Armenia as well,” she wrote.
Earlier we reported that Canada will open a consulate in Yerevan.
