Iran will review its agreements with the International Atomic Energy Agency, announced the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of Iran Nasser Kanaani.
“During the visit of the high-ranking delegation of Iran to Vienna, agreements on constructive cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency were reached. However, the latest resolution of the agency's board of governors forces us to act in light of the changing reality,” Kanaani added.
Earlier, the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency adopted the resolution "on the application of safeguards in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons with Iran". In the document, the agency called on Tehran to clarify the origin of nuclear material previously found at its facilities. According to the Iranian side, the purpose of the resolution is to exert political pressure on Tehran.
