On November 16, at 2:30 p.m., a 36-year-old resident of Sarushen village, Askeran district, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) reported to the Karmir Shuka Department of the Martuni district police department that at around 11:40 a.m. in the agricultural lands belonging to the Sarushen community of Askeran district, in the Amaras valley while carrying out works, the Azerbaijani army officers opened irregular fire from various rifle weapons from the adjacent combat position towards the citizens working in the field.
Agricultural works were stopped due to the violation of the ceasefire regime.
There were no casualties among civilians.
The police informed about the incident and provided relevant materials to the Russian peacekeeping troops.
The Martuni regional department of the police is engaged in the inspection.
