Narek Teryan, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, is in the Republic of Korea as part of the Armenia-Korea parliamentary friendship group of Armenia’s National Assembly.
On November 14, the Vice President of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Yoon-Yong Lee received Armenia’s Parliament delegation.
Within the framework of the visit, Narek Teryan also had a meeting with Jeong Dae-jin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Korea.
During the meetings, the parties both emphasized the development and deepening of cooperation between Korea and Armenia and expressed readiness to make active efforts to implement new initiatives and programs.
Sang-jik Yoon, Secretary General of the Korea World EXPO 2030 Competition Committee, also received the Armenian delegation.
During the meeting, Narek Teryan emphasized that the Korean pavilion was one of the brightest and architecturally impressive pavilions that he and the Armenian delegation were able to visit within the framework of Dubai EXPO 2020.
The Deputy Minister also added that the Expo is an important platform for cooperation between countries, but it is also important to implement all thoughts and ideas outside the Expo.
