On November 15, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Prime Minister’s office reports.
The interlocutors exchanged ideas on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, in particular, the November 7 meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington, and the subsequent trilateral meeting.
Secretary of State Blinken expressed US willingness to continue supporting the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, as well as the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
Prime Minister Pashinyan highly appreciated the US efforts and the personal involvement of Secretary of State Blinken.
The interlocutors agreed to continue discussions on steps aimed at increasing the level of security and stability in the region, including the settlement of humanitarian issues.
