After the liberation of Kherson, the conflict will continue as the Ukrainian military has no intention of freezing the conflict. Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, who spoke on the air of the national telethon, stated this, Ukrainian media reports.
“We cannot freeze anything. We are no refrigerator. We have to liberate our territories regardless of the weather, regardless of the season. We cannot miss any stop because our people are there, we see how they are suffering,” said Danilov.
According to the senior security official, the task set by the president before the Armed Forces of Ukraine is simple and clear – the liberation of Ukrainian territories from invaders. It will be done, it just takes time, Danilov added.
As reported, Oleksiy Danilov warned Ukrainians seeking to return to their homes in the liberated areas of Kherson region that large swaths of the region have been mined by the Russians. Therefore the return would be possible once the Armed Forces greenlight the move.
The former head of ‘Roscosmos’ Dmitry Rogozin, who is in the zone of military operations with a group of military advisors, expressed his confidence that the Russian side will win.
“I have no doubts about the victory. It will be very difficult, long-lasting, but it will definitely happen,” said Rogozin.
According to him, Russia has never fought against such a powerful coalition of high-tech countries.
