The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg, Jean Asselborn, delivered an annual address on foreign policy in the Parliament, and praised the reform process in Armenia, stressing the importance of supporting Armenia.
The Foreign Minister noted that After the war in Nagorno Karabakh in 2020, the EU assumed an important mediation mission between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"We must not forget democratic Armenia, which is vulnerable today", Jean Asselborn said.
In this context, Minister Asselborn welcomed the decision of the EU to deploy a civilian mission on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border in October.
