Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has filed bills with the Verkhovna Rada to have his decrees on extending the duration of martial law and general mobilization approved, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the parliament's website on Tuesday, Interfax reports.
The texts of the bills have not yet been published.
Zelensky signed decrees on imposing martial law in Ukraine and on general mobilization on February 24, and the Verkhovna Rada endorsed them the same day.
Since then, Zelensky has extended the duration of martial law and general mobilization three times, and the parliament has endorsed the relevant decrees. The relevant timeframes were extended last time on August 15 for 90 days until November 23.
