Reuters. U.S. Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Russia floated international principles by its actions in Ukraine in an Interview at the Economic Club of New York on Monday (November 7).
Being asked about the communication between the two countries, he said the U.S. is in contact with Russia’s President Putin.
“I do believe that maintaining channels of communication is in the interest of the United States. I also believe it is in the interests of every country who is affected by this conflict”, he said.
Sullivan traveled to Kyiv on Friday (November 4), where he met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and the country’s government chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, and announced additional aid for additional security assistance.
