In all directions we negotiate with Azerbaijan, we meet Azerbaijan's maximalist position. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said in the National Assembly.
"My impression is that Azerbaijan, considering that it had military success, can now dictate some conditions to Armenia. This cannot be reality, it is not possible to achieve a lasting and comprehensive, stable peace in this way. If they are really interested in having a stable peace in the South Caucasus, they should also state that there cannot be one-sided beneficial solutions in some issues. It won't work, it won't be long-term", the Foreign Minister said.
Speaking about the focus and reactions of the international community, Mirzoyan mentioned.
"Especially after the Azerbaijani aggression on September 13-14, I think the international community sent a very clear message to Azerbaijan that the use of force or the threat of use of force cannot be a way to resolve issues. There are rules, there are lines that should not be crossed; this is the message of the international community, at least that's how it seems to me", Armenia's top diplomat said
Mirzoyan expressed hope that Azerbaijan will understand that message.
