Three checkpoints established for the purpose of carrying out the crossing of persons, goods and vehicles along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border are almost ready.
Rustam Badasyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, told reporters in the National Assembly that the Armenian side has taken its step towards lifting the blockade, but has not yet received an agreement to use the checkpoints from the Azerbaijani Government.
According to the draft decision of the Government, checkpoints will operate in Gegharkunik, Ararat and Syunik provinces.
Rustam Badasyan (Chairman of the SRC of the Republic of Armenia) - We have announced that the blockade agenda is definitely an acceptable agenda for the Government, and we have taken steps to ensure this.
The process can be said to be complete, that is, naturally, there will be some details, maybe there will be some flaws to be corrected in that part, but as we have stated, we are ready, if the other party is ready to use the services provided by such points, we are ready.
