Within the framework of the Pashinyan-Putin meeting held in Sochi, there was also an exchange of ideas regarding the unblocking of regional communications. Armenia’s Prime Minister emphasized that Armenia is very interested in this matter.
“We are ready to take clear steps based on point 9 of the statement of November 9, 2020 and the trilateral statement of January 11, 2021. In this regard, we also rely on paragraph 3 of your decree on the maintenance of peace in Nagorno-Karabakh and your video message of November 9, 2020, which express the agreements we have reached.
The essence of the matter is as follows: communications passing through the territory of Armenia must be under the full control of the Republic of Armenia and operated in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia. The border guard service of the Federal Security Service of Russia should monitor the implementation of the above-mentioned agreements," said Armenia’s Prime Minister.
