On October 28, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan received the delegation of deputies of the French National Assembly.
Welcoming the visit of the delegation of French MPs to Armenia, the Deputy FM thanked for their exceptional solidarity with Armenia and the Armenian people, as well as for their continuous and active pro-Armenian activities.
Paruyr Hovhannisyan emphasized the contribution of the French deputies in strengthening the unique Armenian-French relations.
The parties also discussed issues related to the expansion of the Armenian-French bilateral agenda, including economic, parliamentary and decentralized cooperation.
During the meeting, regional security and peace issues were touched upon. The Deputy Minister presented to the French MPs the situation created as a result of the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan on the sovereign territory of Armenia, highly appreciating the addressed assessments and firm position of the French side.
