Addressing the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations at the extraordinary session of the CSTO Security Council, Russian President Putin noted that the only possible and realistic way to peace could be the unconditional implementation of all provisions of the well-known joint statements of the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“It is possible to reach a stable settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan due to the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the unblocking of transport communications, and the consistent implementation of agreements aimed at solving humanitarian issues.
We have talked about it many times with the Prime Minister of Armenia, and as far as I understand, our partner fully agrees on this matter. The problem is how to find the solutions. It is not so easy, but we can find them only in this way, which will allow us to reach a peace treaty in the future," the Russian President emphasized.
