The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that Europe has reduced its dependence on Russian gas supplies. They, according to him, fell from 40% to 7% of all imports.
Borrell stressed that it is necessary to look for other suppliers and rely on non-carbon energy. Brussels sees such opportunities in Latin America, Borrell said.
