Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have agreed to resolve all border disputes in the future at the level of intergovernmental commissions, according to a joint statement of the border affairs departments of the countries.
The heads of departments emphasized the importance of solidarity in matters of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, territorial integrity and inviolability of borders.
They also assured that the situation on the Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan border is stable at present.
