Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan had a meeting on October 21 with the European Parliament's Standing Rapporteur on Armenia, MEP Andrey Kovatchev.
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs of Armenia, MP Eduard Aghajanyan and Head of EU Delegation to Armenia Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin were also present at the meeting, the Office of the Security Council said in a press release.
Grigoryan welcomed Kovatchev’s visit to Armenia and expressed conviction that cooperation will contribute to having a positive result.
Grigoryan presented the September 13 Azerbaijani aggression and its aftermath, as well as certain details from the negotiations process. The Secretary of the Security Council also emphasized Armenia’s readiness to continue democratic reforms also as a security component.
