Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was asked a question regarding the nuclear program at the press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan, on what stage are the negotiations with the West.
"During the last days and weeks, we exchanged messages with the American side, we also received messages, we also had negotiations and conversations with Josep Borrell, I spoke just an hour ago, before I arrived in Yerevan. Everything is going well, we have reached an agreement to establish more effective cooperation and negotiations," said the Iranian Foreign Minister.
Abdollahian informed that they also negotiated the exchange of Iranian and American prisoners, and had good achievements in the previous week.
"A delegate from the USA arrived in Iran through a third country, we transferred one detainee who is a citizen of two countries, Iran and the USA, to Oman as part of humanitarian work. The exchange of messages with the American side that we should reach a result and an agreement is still ongoing", he said.
