The narrow-format session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council kicked off in Yerevan on October 20.
Before the start of the session, an official welcoming ceremony took place, the heads of government of the Eurasian Economic Union member states posed for a photo.
The Prime Ministers of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich arrived in Armenia for the session.
Issues relating to the development of integration processes in the Eurasian space will be discussed during the narrow and extended-format sessions. The participants will specifically focus on the digital agenda. The process of preparing agreements on the formation of a single gas market, as well as oil and oil products markets will also be discussed. As a result, the participants are expected to sign decisions envisaging the further development of the Eurasian economic integration.
