The world economy is not experiencing the best times. Trade, industrial and logistic connections, which had just begun to recover after the pandemic, are experiencing new shocks, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said in his welcoming speech at the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council session held in Yerevan.
"The fundamental principles of the global economic system have come under question. In the current unstable economic realities, no one doubts the demand and relevance of regular high-level dialogue aimed at more systematic and coordinated cooperation. Mutual understanding of interests, willingness for compromise and cooperation can be the key to solving many issues. In this context, in the true sense of the word, I will mention the day-to-day work within the framework of the EAEU, in terms of responding to problems arising at all levels and developing systematic measures", Pashinyan said.
On October 20, the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council session started in Yerevan.
The Prime Ministers of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich arrived in Armenia for the session.
