"We have common interests, opinions, and also concerns that prevail in the South Caucasus, which we touched upon", Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said during a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
"Iran is against the presence of representatives of foreign countries in the region, both on the territory of Armenia and Azerbaijan. The activity of internal representatives in the region, such as the "3+3" platform, is very important for us.
I must mention that Iran will not tolerate any geographical change in the regional borders, change in the historical borders. That is our red line, we will take all the steps that will confront eve similar way of thinking", said the Iranian Foreign Minister.
Abdollahian noted that the economic cooperation and trade turnover between Armenia and Iran reaches approximately 700 million USD.
"We agreed to increase it to one billion, taking into account that there is a potential between the two countries to increase the economic and trade cooperation even beyond this number", the minister said.
