Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian at the press conference with Armenia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, answering journalists' questions, also touched upon the Persian Gulf-Black Sea corridor and its significance.
"Taking into account India's role and the role it can have in this corridor, a trilateral platform is established between Armenia, Iran and India to reach our goals related to this road, to have more and better influence on the construction of the corridor", he said.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized that his country is really interested in the Persian Gulf-Black Sea transport corridor.
"Like Iran, we already signed an agreement on this, negotiations are underway with other countries, including those that were not initially involved in this process.
I think the corridor might be interesting for India as well, and we will eventually be able to bring this idea to life", he said.
